Introducing our first Pattern of the Month Challenge!

Each month at our meetings we'll announce a Pattern of the Month Challenge -- or, a POM! The hashtag for this will be #SGGPOM, and you'll be able to find all our challenges under the #SGGPOM tag on social media or here on the website!

To start us off gently, this month's challenge is to make a Woven Top.

This can be any easy pullover top of your choice, as long as it is made in a woven and not a knit. (we'll get to those later!)

You are welcome to pick any pattern you like, but here are some suggestions:

First Meeting: September 10th!

We're one week away from the very first Stratford Garment Guild meeting! ⁣

⁣Have you considered what me-made item you'll wear to the meeting for the "Sew & Tell" ? If you're just starting out, don't feel intimidated! Bring along that pattern you bought but haven't started on yet, or the picture you saw that made you start thinking about sewing clothes ✨⁣

Don't forget, you can print off and bring your membership form and registration fees to the first meeting, OR you can email the registration form and internet transfer your registration fees to register prior to Sept 10 -- if you register early online you will be eligible for our Early Bird Door Prize basket which we'll be drawing at our first meeting.
